Upon arrival at The Great White House, enjoy a briefing on the itinerary and safety protocols, accompanied by muffins and coffee. We offer safety briefings in multiple languages upon request. Guests are provided with essential safety gear before embarking on the Marine Big 5 Tour, which typically lasts 2 to 2.5 hours, departing from Kleinbaai Harbour near Gansbaai.
Our journey includes exploration of Dyer Island and Geyser Rock, home to diverse wildlife including seals, birds, and whales. While sightings are not guaranteed, our experienced team maximizes opportunities to encounter the Marine Big 5. Each tour is led by knowledgeable marine biologists committed to wildlife conservation and responsible tourism.

Please ensure to include the compulsory Conservation Fee during booking. Remember to specify the number of adults and children, with children aged 11 years or younger accounted for. Infants under 5 years old are exempt from charges; choose the add-on option for a Discounted Infant Seat (0-4 years) at no extra cost. Note that the Conservation Fee applies to all guests, including adults, children, and infants.
Our tours are subject to weather and tidal conditions, so launch times may vary. Rest assured, your safety and comfort are our top priorities. Our fleet features two meticulously designed vessels: the Dream Catcher, a 14m catamaran, and the Whale Whisperer, a 4m semi-rigid inflatable. Both ensure ample space, with dedicated platforms for photographers, onboard facilities, and safety equipment. We adhere to strict safety standards, including regular inspections and provision of emergency equipment.
