As a tour company, we want our clients to take home the memories they have made and share them with their friends and family while (metaphorically) leaving their footprints here in South Africa. We want to share the profound passion we have for our country and people with our guests. As a boutique tour company, we believe in attention to detail and giving every individual guest appreciable attention, respect and service. Andria Rautenbach, CEO and Co-Founder
Andria has a postgraduate degree in biodiversity and ecology, which granted her valuable knowledge of the fauna and flora in the Western Cape region. She then started her career in tourism at a local tour company situated in Cape Town. With more than 7 years’ experience in the tourism sector, she has excelled and learned to master her skills in logistics, management, customer service, adaptability and understanding client profiles.
Background
Andria Rautenbach’s love for Africa began as a child. From a young age she has moved around and acquired a lot of insight regarding different cultures and places, as her father worked in 5 African countries. With a deep passion for travel, they were constantly exploring each country they lived in. Through this she has also gained abundant knowledge of various attractions and experiences in Sub-Saharan Africa. She wishes to share this passion with visitors by providing them with an unforgettable experience of the rich cultural diversity and natural splendour Africa has to offer.
Gretchen Gibson, Operations Manager and Co-Founder
Gretchen has a postgraduate degree in Social Science (majoring in psychology). She is also a certified Life Coach and has a certificate in Psychometry. This has given her valuable knowledge and understanding about the sociology of the different cultures within South Africa. The skills that she obtained is also important to human resources and recruitment within the business.
Background
She grew up in a small town, Ceres, in the Western Cape. From a young age her family always went touring in South Africa and Africa. She enjoys working with people. She always had an interest in learning about the history, different cultures and places in South Africa and Africa. Her love for mother nature is continuously growing and she cannot wait to help you find the perfect places to explore in our beautiful country.
